Liz was born in 1978 in Epping, just outside London. Although she had no artist in her family to follow, she always had a passion for painting and so studied art to A-Level (1996). She continued to paint in her halls of residence at London University during her philosophy degree; the paintings filling her room became too much and she had her first sole exhibition in 1999.


In 2000, although a cradle Catholic, Liz began to experience the profound nature of being in relationship with God and her artwork took a turn towards the spiritual. Liz maintains this is her most fulfilling work.
